HerStory: Gender Award of Distinction 2026

In partnership with the Philippine Women Judges Association, the HerStory: Gender Award of Distinction continues to honor women judges whose integrity, resilience, leadership, and dedication to judicial service inspire others and strengthen the administration of justice. Each year, the award shines a spotlight on exceptional judicial leaders who are making a meaningful and lasting impact within their courts, communities, and the broader legal profession.

This year’s HerStory Award recipient was Judge Sita Jose Clemente, with Judge Maria Lina P. Gonzaga named First Runner-Up and Judge Maria Sophia T. Solidum-Taylor recognized as Second Runner-Up. Through their commitment to justice, service, and leadership, these distinguished judges are making significant contributions in their communities and advancing the rule of law.

Their achievements serve as a powerful reminder of the important role women judges play in shaping fairer and more inclusive justice systems, while inspiring future generations of women and girls to pursue leadership in the judiciary and the legal profession.
