People Centered Justice approaches within the Rule of Law

On November 1-2, 2023, IAWJ Director of Programs, Jane Charles-Voltaire, participated in The Chemonics' Sixth Annual Rule of Law Summit. The summit brought together a diverse group of speakers and participants, representing global practitioners and donors in the field of rule of law programming, including USAID, ABA-ROLI, East-West Management Institute (EWMI), The Hague Institute for Innovation of Lawthe Center for Justice Innovation. A key theme of the summit was the concept of 'People-Centered Justice (PCJ),' aimed at transforming justice institutions and fostering greater trust between court users and justice sector service providers.
